From hand pulling to the Wrist Muscles with their tendons to the elbow - 5 muscles to each side of the elbow.
The purpose of these muscles is to provide the fingers, the metacarpus, the wrist, but also the forearm and the elbow joint with many different types of support. Enable movements and functions.
Many people experience pain, inflammation, tears in the tendon insertions and overloading in or around the elbow, resulting in a Epicondylitis (tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, mouse elbow)
The Masalo® Cuff MED helps with epicondylitis effectively, quickly and sustainably thanks to its unique counter-traction principle.
The pain and problems of epicondylitis are located at the elbow, but the cause of this injury is found in the hand and wrist area.
Epicondylitis is caused by tensile forces of the forearm muscles, which lead to microtears at the tendon insertions on the elbow.
These strains are usually caused by hyperextension of the wrist - for example when working with a mouse on a computer - or during everyday activities, sports, gardening, knitting or crocheting.
Wrist instability can also play a role, for example when lifting loads and weights or when playing tennis and table tennis.

I have had pain in my elbow for many years, but I had it under control with stretching exercises. A few weeks ago the pain became unbearable. I discovered the Masalo cuff on the internet and got a prescription from my GP. After 2 days it was ready to be picked up at the medical supply store, I put it on according to the instructions and after about 30 minutes the stabbing pain was gone. Unbelievable!!! However, the explanation at the medical supply store was very misleading, as I was told that the cuff would immobilise the bent arm, which would probably not have the desired effect. Perhaps targeted information for the specialists could help here. Supplement: Is it possible to produce the cuff in the colour black? ????
Hello Mrs Gruber,
Thank you very much for the nice feedback and the very important information.
I have supplemented your experience report with the addition of yours, so there are not 2 reviews in it ????
Firstly, I would like to answer your supplement.
We have been working on a black version for almost 4 years now. It's not that easy, especially with materials in black, but we are currently in the laboratory testing phase and hope that it will lead to positive results in our favour. After that, some regulatory matters still need to be dealt with, so we expect to be able to offer a black version in the first quarter of 2026 at the earliest.
Now to your report.
Please tell us which medical supply retailer you purchased the cuff from. This is really important, we need to follow up there.
Although every specialist retailer must confirm in writing that he and all employees involved are intensively involved with our cuff and are absolutely confident in applying and using it and advising patients, some retailers simply do not comply.
It then happens that the support is incorrectly applied and used, which means that it cannot provide any benefit. We work with a unique countertraction and not with compression like all other epi aids. Under no circumstances should the arm be immobilised, quite the opposite.
We train the specialist dealers, on request also by video training, but at least with detailed information for specialist dealers. This is only of no use if they ignore it and think they already know everything anyway...
You have probably just harmed yourself with the stretching exercises.
Please read our "Tips for dealing with epicondylitis" under https://www.masalo.shop/tipps-gegen-epicondylitis/ These will help you and protect you from further damage.
We wish you a speedy recovery and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us (preferably via our contact form and send us pictures), we are always happy to help.
Best regards - Your Masalo team
I ordered the cuff for my husband. He has been living with daily pain in his forearm due to an overload during free weight training almost 3 months ago. He has had the cuff for a few days now and is already noticing a clear improvement. The only thing that could be improved is the grip on the upper arm. A larger rubberised surface without the Velcro attachment would improve the grip. The Velcro attachment is not very comfortable to wear as it scratches the arm at the corners.
I bought the Masola splint because of my tennis elbow and I am absolutely delighted with it. The sleeve noticeably takes the tension off the tendon and after the first few minutes I had no more pain. This immediate feeling of relief showed me straight away that it would help me. Since then, I have been able to use my arm much better in everyday life - pain-free!
A clear recommendation for anyone suffering from similar complaints.
Easy to use. Effective improvement after just a few days. No hindrance, whether working or cycling!
My physiotherapist recommended the support because the regular support prescribed by my orthopaedic surgeon didn't help. Ordered on Tuesday evening - delivery on Thursday afternoon - hardly any pain on Friday. I currently wear the support almost 24 hours a day as I was also affected by the pain at night. The pain is completely gone here. A great product, which I have already recommended to others.
I have been suffering from bilateral golfer's elbow for over 10 years. As I'm left-handed, the left is naturally worse than the right. All treatments, including surgery, have unfortunately not led to any improvement, so I have already resigned myself to the pain. It is sometimes more or less severe. Depending on how much strain is put on the arm (I'm only talking about the left one now). Now I came across this cuff by chance. I found the working principle interesting and somehow logical. I thought to myself that it couldn't do any harm and ordered the cuff. I've been wearing it for almost a week now, except at night. And I have to say that the discomfort is already noticeably less. Whereas before I sometimes had severe pain for days on end, even after supposedly light activities such as pouring water from a jug or after long car journeys, I have the feeling that this is no longer the case with the cuff. I have no illusions. I will probably never be completely pain-free again after such a long time. But if the pain doesn't get worse with the cuff when I'm exercising, it will be a 100% improvement in my quality of life. So far, I can definitely recommend the cuff.
Excellent, quick service, great product
